your year

What a year of membership actually looks like.

Not a list of services — a sequence. This is the shape of a typical first year for an adult member — whether you're managing something long-term or simply want to stay well and strong.

  1. Week 0

    The info visit

Fifteen free minutes with Dr. Alluri. What you're hoping for, what we do and don't do, whether it's a fit — said plainly, both ways. If it is, you join the founding list and receive your activation code.

  2. Week 1

    Joining, without the clipboard

Your code links your sign-in to your record — nobody else's. The portal's Tell us about you interview asks one question at a time: contacts, history, medications, allergies, goals. Talk or type. It goes into your intake file, never guessed onto your chart.

  3. Month 1

The long first visit + your baseline

A 60-minute visit. Your medication list against the landmark trials behind it. Labs ordered as a branded PDF you can carry to any lab. Blood pressure technique. And the movement lab — squat, hinge, walk — so strength and gait become vital signs with a baseline.

  4. Months 1–3

    Dialing in

Home readings flow into your health log — from your cuff, your scale, your watch, or by telling the assistant. Dose changes happen on trend data, not on a rushed recheck. Questions go to the care team thread; a person answers.

  5. Every visit

    Check in before you arrive

A day or two ahead, Excelsior asks what's changed — voice or text, a few minutes — and shows you exactly what it will file. Your physician reviews it before the visit starts, so the visit starts in the middle, not at the beginning.

  6. Quarterly

    Follow-through, not follow-up calls

Whatever labs your care calls for — on the cadence the evidence supports for you. Each result gets read out loud with a reason. Things that are due appear on your prevention plan, your calendar, and your phone.

  7. When it fits

In person or on video, your call

Ideally in person, at the Reston office. Travelling, sick, or short on time? A private video room is minted for that visit inside the portal, no app to install. Booking is easy because the scheduling is ours: pick a slot in the portal and it lands on your calendar.

  8. Month 12

    The annual review

A year of trends on one screen: your numbers, your strength, your medications and why each still earns its place. The plan for year two is written with you, not for you.

what a membership covers

Whatever your year brings.

Stay well

Screenings and the risk numbers that predict the next decade — on one plan you both can see.

Anything long-term

Whatever you're managing, it's managed on trends over years, treated to the evidence, and explained out loud.

Your medicines

Each one reviewed against the trials behind it — added, adjusted, or safely removed.

Move well

A movement lab in the office. Strength, gait and balance are vital signs here.

Weight, done properly

Training, nutrition, labs — and modern medications when appropriate, with real follow-through.

The everyday

The cough, the rash, the question that comes up between visits. A message, a video visit, or a same-week appointment. An acute-care lane for same-day visits opens with the office.
